External monitor to MacBook Air

Hi,

I use MacBook Air and I want to connect external monitor. I use USB hub(JUH450) including HDMI, monitor Acer V276HL connected by DisplayPort on monitor side and HDMI to USB hub. Mac does not resolve monitor. Could you help me somebody?

Try to connect the MacBook Air directly into the monitor via. Displayport and see if that works as a troubleshooting step.
